Will I buy this again? Probably.
This is a nice red wine. Needs to breathe to smooth out a little and has a bright flavor. That's about the best I can do at describing this wine. We'll have to try another bottle and see if we can expound a little.

Let this one breath for 30 minutes or so--it really opens up. Very smooth, balanced and drinkable. The only flaw I taste is that it's a bit heavy on the tannins, but I'm being picky. Scent is earthy, somewhat spicey and floral, with even a touch of curry--I absolutely love the way this wine smells. Hints of blackberry, pear, apple, spring water and slight chocolate. This wine does not unfold on the palate like the most complex wines, but it is very pleasing nonetheless. Smooth finish with no harshness and zero hint of alcohol. I bought this for $5.99 at one of the higher-priced liquor stores in Minneapolis. If I had paid $18.00, I would not have been disappointed. I'm sipping as I write. This is quite a remarkable wine.
